EM3 at US-Mexico Border

Since early in 2006, Argus has participated in surveys to locate clandestine tunnels along the US-Mexico Border. There were two phases of surveys, the first to establish baseline data, the second to detect changes in the baseline that may be related to tunneling activity.

The surveys commenced in two locations in California, east of San Diego, and expanded to include at least 20 locations in rural and urban areas along the border between San Diego and El Paso. Including multiple data transects in most locations, over 100 miles of data were collected.

To preserve Homeland Security, the survey locations are not disclosed, nor are the data.
