ARGUS is dedicated to working closely with engineers to produce deliverables that contribute added value to their projects. It is our vision to revolutionize the way engineering is practiced, by integrating geophysical scoping data with geotechnical investigations to help with judicious placement of bores, interpolation between boreholes, and extrapolation into areas where no borehole information is available. In clearly homogeneous areas, fewer boreholes may be required. In contrast, where heterogeneous complex areas are indicated, a greater numbers of boreholes may be necessary for adequate characterization. Mutually constraining geophysical inversion models with bore log data can also reduce problems of ambiguity or equivalency, resulting in significantly enhanced geological interpretation.
